ROASTED PUMPKIN SEEDS : PLAINTags : food, my mister cooks .
As promised in this post about my favorite pumpkin seeds, I would share in another post the mister favorite recipe for plain roasted seeds. They taste a bit salt compared to the sugar and spice seeds but in general they kinda have a popcorn like taste to them. They are beyond easy to make and equally delicious. Enjoy!
ROASTED PUMPKIN SEEDS : PLAIN
Approx. 10 +/- hours
Oil or Baking Spray
Rinse and remove pulp. Soak seeds over night in bowl of salt water, to taste. (We used approx 1/2 teaspoon per cup of seeds) water. Oil bottom of baking sheet. Strain seeds and place single layered (flattened out on tray). Sprinkle salt generously over top and bake for 25 minutes on 325. Check and stir seeds 1/2 way thru baking, around 12 minutes. Cool and enjoy! Store in air tight container.
